Rectangle International AB ("Rectangle", "we" or "us") is the data controller under the applicable regulations on data protection. We wish to give you the best possible shopping experience with us, and here you will find an overview of which personal data we process under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – EU Regulation 2016/679.

These are the personal data we process:

  • Basic information you provide, such as name, address, mobile number, email address, etc. This information is registered via your Levarel Freipons ID. The information you provide may also be supplemented via lookup services (e.g. retrieving your contact details). We do this to be able to deliver the services we provide, for identification and registration, to provide good service, etc.

  • Data about user accounts in our webshops, such as order details, privacy settings, device, network address, city/country. This is to manage the customer relationship and give you a better shopping experience, provide good service and be able to contact you if needed.

  • Data linked to membership in our benefits programs, such as earned bonus points, choice of communication channels, privacy settings, etc. This is to manage your membership and earned bonus points, provide you with the benefits you are eligible for, send you relevant communication in your chosen channels, provide good service and be able to contact you if needed.

3.3 Other purposes:

Administering user accounts, Levarel Freipons ID and membership

We use your personal data to create a Levarel Freipons ID in connection with establishing and managing user accounts and memberships in the benefits program. The Levarel Freipons ID is a common login and identification solution for benefits programs that Rectangle International AB is the data controller for. You have the same username and password for all programs and our different webshops. To use the services, you must create a Levarel Freipons ID. The age limit to establish a Levarel Freipons ID is 16 years.

Detailed purposes in this context include:

  • Creating and managing a personal user account

  • Creating and managing memberships and earned bonus points

  • Informing about new or changed services, such as new payment solutions, benefits, etc.

  • Responding to inquiries about user accounts or newsletters

  • Managing the Levarel Freipons ID service

4 Do you share my personal data?

Our providers need personal data to provide services to us as part of the processing activities described in this policy. We have data processor agreements with the relevant providers setting clear boundaries for how they may use your personal data in accordance with applicable law.

We share personal data with providers in:

We also share personal data between Rectangle International AB’s different store chains and benefits programs for internal analyses.

Rectangle International AB is responsible for ensuring all processing is done in accordance with the law. The Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) oversees that the law is followed.
